“How could I ever love a royal who allowed his people to suffer just so he might experience beauty on his own doorstep? No, I am certainly not here for the princes of Teich, and I will happily walk away if I'm eliminated.”

Oh my goodness! The heroine! I love, love, love her. She's like a firecracker, she curses (which I love, yes, because it's refreshing), she has a spine of her own and does not hold back, and most of all, she's a heroine with a big H. Absolutely epic, and I can't wait to read the next one.
