The Friend Zone by Abby Jimenez

DNF at 20%.
Something must be said for me reading so far given I started it only yesterday evening. The writing flows.
Rest - too judgy. Men being judged for not picking up tampons, not riding bikes, not drinking beer. Women being judged for wearing makeup and not eating cheeseburgers.
Heroine is "I am not like other girls™️" cool. Has a dog named Stuntman Mike. (ooooh soooo cool, right??!!)
I'd have overlooked all other issues but I draw the line at cheating. Heroine is in a relationship with a military guy on duty, looks at another guy, and is CONSTANTLY thinking how hot this one is and how she enjoys being with him. Not cool, Kristen. Not cool. No amount of saying "I am starved for sex" won't convince me. I don't care what you think or feel, but there is absolutely no excuse for cheating. If you want to eff around, break up with army guy first and do whatever you want. Being an army partner is not easy (I don't think I could ever be one), please don't undermine army partners by doing this.
Okay bye.
