My jaw is on the floor. There were so many times my heart was racing for Shay and the danger she'd be in. Like honey baby, please no!
Ashley Winstead did a wonderful job of making the reader really feel on edge with her characters. Not to mention the feelings of immense feminine rage that would occur. I truly hated men so much while reading this. What is more sad is that, while this is a work of fiction, this is the reality for some women.
I thought I had put pieces together, but I was wrong. I did NOT see that last 30% coming.
