꧁Book Review꧂

the Kingdom of Quadara is split into four quadrants, each with their own unique ethos, skills and way of life. Each of these 4 quadrants are ruled over by a queen who represents them, and together they make the queens of Quadara. Enter Keralie, a pickpocket who happens across a plot to murder the queens. Can she stop the murders in time to save them before all of Quadara falls?

I am embarrassed by how long it took me to read this book (11 months if you were wondering 👀) and I genuinely don’t know why it took so long because it was so good! Now YA, isn’t usually my first, second or third choice however this was such a brilliant concept and very well written so as not to come across as immature.

I loved Keralie, she was a take no prisoners girl who despite everything that had happened to her, still wanted to do the right thing.
I did not see the twist coming at all but once it was revealed you could see all of the pieces fall into place .

Overall, I loved the Hunger Games, Maze Runner feel of this book.
