Jordynn and I read this book for an astronomy unit we're doing for homeschool. Yes, I'm homeschooling again this year, as Jordynn seems to really thrive on homeschooling and learns a lot more at home with me than at school. Anyway, this book is meant more for maybe middle schoolers, but nonetheless we both enjoyed the story. It was kind of nice to get a break from some of the heavier books we're reading with a nice, light yet informative book about science with a predictible but interesting storyline (which is perfect for middle grades in any case!). We didn't realize it was book 3 in a series and once we figured that out, some of the comments in the book that referred to past events made a lot more sense. Overall, enjoyed the book and we learned a lot!
