I couldn’t wait to sink myself back into Finley’s story after reading the first in the series. This book turned darker compared to the first (Crime and Passion) but there was a decent twist at the end. It’s hard not to fall in love with the main two characters and a handful of the support characters. I’d love to see a few more supporting characters get their own stories as part of this series. Added bonus for me was the music described throughout the book made me feel as if the author stole a playlist out of my phone.
