It's odd how 80s/90s this book feels, very informed by Goosebumps and Buffy the Vampire Slayer with a strong side of Goonies and a dash of Gaiman's Last Temptation.

Nothing wrong with that, it's just disjointed and not as much fun as the things it seems to be borrowing heavily from.
