This is book two of a paranormal romance series. I’m not a good judge but I think it probably could be read as a stand-alone but it’s absolutely going to be better if you read Lee first. Parts of this book take place during a similar time frame as Lee. I liked the character of Belle more than I did Lee- but that’s due to Lee’s job in her book, not how either character is written.
Belle is looking for a picture perfect Christmas, her first real one. She hops on a dating app and connects up with four guys who are all a millennia old. The guys are a hoot and it’s definite insta- love for the guys and Belle falls in love 30 seconds after that - my favorite kind of book!
I really enjoyed this one. I love RH books but sometimes that harem gets a little crazy, which I love sometimes but less is more. You really get to know the characters well and each character has their own unique voice. There’s a storyline that wasn’t as developed as I’d hope but I suspect we’ll find out more in the next two books.
