This volume was a bit of a slog to get through. Not because it's another intermission book like Vol. 4 was, although it is in some ways, but because the translation work is terrible.

In addition to the non-standard dialog issues I've mentioned in previous reviews, this one makes dialog even more difficult to follow by sometimes messing up pronoun translation. In addition, there are multiple cases where the opposite of the correct word is used. For example, using 'impossible' instead of 'possible.' The errors make some passages make no sense until you realize the error, but even worse is the fact that some passages could go either way, drastically changing the meaning of what was written, and not being immediately apparent which was intended.

I've noticed similar errors in prior volumes, but usually only once or twice per book at most. This book seemed to be full of them.

Fortunately, this is the last volume translated by this particular translator, so hopefully things will get better from here.

The book itself has a number of stories that aren't directly connected to each other aside from the fact that they are all obviously furthering the overall plot of the series. The result would have been a bit more entertaining than Vol. 4 if not for the translation problems.
