An Amerikan Family: The Shakurs and the Nation They Created by Santi Elijah Holley

4.0

I really enjoyed this book. I knew vaguely about the Shakurs and their work but most of what I knew centered around Tupac. Learning more about the rest of his family was incredibly inspiring, which is something I needed especially right now. They all sacrificed so much to achieve what they did. The only draw back for me was timeline, since this isn't really told in chronological order it can be hard to connect some things together but not overly hard. Love the book, would recommend.
