This book started really slow for me but overall was very enjoyable. The author does a fantastic job and immersing the reader into the scene and there were several lines in the book that really spoke to me. The only part where I personally thought the book fell short was the ending, it didn’t feel as tied up in a nice bow as I wanted it to be. Definitely a great read for anyone looking to diversify their bookshelves or looking for AAPI and queer representation.
