Ally Carter has honed the balance of action and romance that really scratches an itch in my brain. This book was no exception!
The dynamic between the protagonists was very similar to that of The Hating Game by Sally Thorne or Two Can Play by Ali Hazelwood. It seems like they don’t get along but really he’s been pining for her the whole time and has been trying to respect boundaries? Perf.
Plus! This book has the gift of dual pov.
