F-Words is a collection of short stories from 17 different authors. Each story is based on a word starting with F; friendship, family, fate, fidelity, forgotten, and many more. I enjoyed every single story, but all in different ways. The most interesting part is that each story has its unique flavor. From fantasy to contemporary fiction, and everything in between; these stories have something to offer every reader. Whether you simply want a book you can read on the go or looking for something thought-provoking, it will suit your taste. Regardless of the differences in genres and narrations, every tale feels like a window into the author’s soul. What matters to each of us? What do we crave? And what are we aspiring to achieve? So many different perspectives are scattered across these pages, making you wonder what reality is. It always astounds me how every person sees the world from a unique lens, shaped by experiences, not just ours but also the experiences of people around us, the society at large, and its belief systems. I took my time with each story, sat with them, and tried to unravel the mysteries hidden between the lines. F-Words is most definitely one of the best collections of stories I have read and I would recommend it to all readers, especially if you enjoy fiction that’s relatable and at the same time unimaginable.
