The story wasn't completely terrible but the character, Lucy, just came across as desperate in wanting to find a husband which I found off-putting.

In saying that, this is not normally the type of book that I would tend to veer towards but it was free on Kindle. So giving the fact that it's not to usual taste it's a good book for what it is.
