A unique, emotional , empowering, haunting piece embodying what women and girls could do and become if we embraced each other and ourselves authentically. I took me a minute to settle into second person , but the characters, the magical realism, the feminine rage and beautiful portrait of healthy masculinity kept me going until the powerful yet left me wanting more ending.
DEFINITELY wouldn’t suggest anyone under the age of 16 reading it though , and even then , it might be a bit much for some.
