Definitely one of my favorite volumes of the series so far! I loved seeing the whole situation with Lakan and Fengxian ; I bawled seeing it in the anime and bawled reading it here again, haha. I loved that the manga had quite a bit more detail about Lakan and his character and that I'll finally be moving past the point of the anime finally.
Graphic: Medical content
Minor: Terminal illness, Blood, Pregnancy, and Injury/Injury detail
Medical Content (Maomao is an apothecary so there is discussion of medical procedures and ingredients) | Blood (Maomao reopens her leg injury and it bleeds) | Injury/Injury Detail (Maomao reopens her leg injury once or twice again; you can see Fengxian's missing nose in passing) | Pregnancy (Consort Gyokuyo is pregnant through this volume but it's mostly mentioned in passing and she's not even showing yet) | Terminal Illness (Fengxian suffers from syphillis and it is mentioned passing that she doesn't have much time left)
