SO. MUCH. FUN.

ABSOLUTELY horrifying for a YA novel. Some truly grotesque imagery, heartbreaking plotlines & a lot happening, but this snagged my attention and wouldn't let go. This was such an intense read and will likely become a re-visit every Halloween.

Some of the ~magic / effects of Cade's wish didn't quite make sense, but this was a refreshing take on crossroad demons and wishes. I do wish for a steadier pacing since the middle kind of meandered a bit, but the end hikes up the tension like crazy and doesn't let up. Cade's arc makes total sense and if there's a sequel, I'm there. 

Can't wait to read more Giles. This was stunning.
