Going Home by Max Vos

This was an interesting one. The subject matter should - in theory - be something which engenders feelings of disquiet, dislike, distaste etc and I dare say if it was a real life situation, my view would be more along those lines.

But, as a piece of fiction, I found it quite enthralling. My low-ish rating is more for the instant love element of Carter's acceptance into the world of Carl and Matt. I'm afraid I just didn't buy into them moving a third in to their insular relationship so quickly.

The sex is - as with most taboos - of the "I shouldn't be turned on by this logically but it's hot as f*ck" no matter what the relationship and I genuinely felt the love, both emotional and sexual, between Carl and Matt.

An interesting book and one which should not be censored imho because of the subject matter when other books are still freely available.
