Things We Hide From The Light by Lucy Score

4.0

I think I would have loved this book more if I wasn’t comparing it to Things We Never Got Over. Knox and Daisy pulled me in and dragged me under and I was connected to them in a way I didn’t feel with Nash and Lina, but especially Lina.

I think this story was probably a little more realistic, and Nash was a lot more emotionally mature than Knox so if you’re looking for a good guy main character, you’d probably prefer this book!

I also really appreciated the care Lucy, like always, puts into her writing of mental illness, panic attacks, and trauma. I also really appreciated the mentions of police reform, Autism awareness and equity and inclusion.

The epilogue though…one of my favorites ever!
