Interesting book. It is the pick for a book club I have just recently joined. A town in the woods of Washington state in the nineteen teens quarantines itself against the flu. Along the way tensions erupt when soliders appear in the woods. Stories of union strikes and concientious objectors fill in the backgrounds of characters.
