It should come as no surprise that ‘Love, Theoretically’ is my new fav read from Hazelwood - if you’ve read it yourself you’ll know there are an insurmountable amount of Twilight references which that alone had my heart. But partner that with ‘I’d do anything for you’ Jack Smith - I was smitten from the first chapter. When I say I devoured this book, I genuinely didn’t want this to end! If you love Twilight more than you love cheese and haven’t read this before - I highly recommend you bump this up on your TBR.
This was easily my favourite Hazelwood read to date - it had a perfect blend of science, politics, family drama and intrigue. If you only ever read one book from Ali Hazelwood, let it be this one! Elsie and Jack are to die for! Honesty and heathy communication is at the forefront of the book, and partnered with loveable, quirky side-characters that oftentimes stole the show (here’s looking at you Millicent - probably one of my favourite side characters in a rom-com to this date!), ‘Love, Theoretically’ is undoubtedly the most addictive, heartwarming romance of Hazelwood’s. And let’s not forget to mention the insane character growth of our FMC Elsie who I also loved and adored. 10/10 recommend. I can’t believe it took me this long to read it 😅
TLDR: Twilight is supreme and if you love Twilight, FMCs who are powerhouse women in Stem, MMCs who would do anything for the FMC, and healthy communication in relationships - this book is for you!
