What the Bride Didn't Know by Kelly Hunter
3.0
I really liked about the first third, liked the middle and had mixed feelings about the last third, basically, spy shenanigans make me happy, spy shenanigans where they pretend to be married make me very happy, and I theoretically like spy shenanigans where they pretend to be married and then one of them gets amnesia and thinks they actually are married, but it didn't completely work for me here.
The consent issues were mostly well handled, but I felt like she was pressured to get over them too fast, and I didn't like that it was the woman who felt ambivalent about being a secret agent. I feel like there should be more rocking, unambivalent female secret agents out there.
Otherwise, the chemistry between the leads was smoking, and the dialogue was snappy and fun, so it was a highly enjoyable read.
