This was a short, cute read that I received as an ARC from the author. Tropes include fated mates, size differences, and alien/human. There was also some disability, chronic pain, and body insecurity rep. It was refreshing to see the MMC with body insecurity also. 

Trixie was so fun; I loved her potty mouth, and Vrixiel was so sweet and attentive. The nicknames they had for each other were cute, but not something I particularly cared for. I, personally, did find that the nicknames distracted from the story. But overall, this is was a good novella that I enjoyed. I'll keep reading Marian Pattechat novels.

Four and a half out of five stars. I recommend this for anyone who likes fated alien/human mates.
