A Condition Called Love, Volume 6 by Megumi Morino

I love this series so much!

Re-read #3: One of the reasons why I love this series is because it shows how Hananoi is always working towards being better and being willing to learn and grow with Hotaru. It takes a couple volumes to start seeing it but the continuous growth on both of their parts is amazing. Hananoi learning that it’s okay to have friends and make genuine connections is so nice to see. I love seeing his interactions with Kurata. It’s also nice to see Hotaru opening herself up to love and romance and gushing about her relationship with her friends and sister (her sister fading out while Hotaru is talking about their first kiss is hilarious).

I love seeing how they create boundaries and communicate when they are uncomfortable or need a warning before doing something (i.e., when they decide to ask permission before they kiss).

One of my favorite parts of this volume is the basketball game. The way they support each other is so wholesome. Instead of getting upset that they can’t see each other as often they cheer the other on. And when they do see each other, it makes it even more special. The way Hananoi instantly finds Hotaru as soon as she cheers for him at the basketball game. Also, Hotaru talking about how brightly Hananoi shines is so sweet.

This series never fails to make me smile and just gives me all the fluffy, cozy vibes.
