MR. BLACK by Nancy Brown, Nancy Brown

5.0

Darian Black has starred in Jordan Sinclair's dreams since the day they met fifteen years ago. Yes, you heard that right. She and Darian spent a wonderful weekend together. He was a gentlemen because she was underage, but Jordan never forgot their connection. Maybe, just maybe their paths will cross again. Until then, Jordan is living and loving life except for the fact that she compares every man to Darian. Who knew having a run-in with Mr. Brick Wall would lead her to the man of her dreams?

Darian never stopped thinking about the girl that rocked his world without sex. Jordan was always in his thoughts. Imagine his surprise when his best friend and business partner, Alex Stone, throws her card on his desk. He has to see her. He has to know if the feelings are still there. Alex, being a hacking genius, discovers that Jordan will be attending a charity event in New York in a few weeks. That's another big hurdle, Darian's company, Black Stone Investigations, is based in New York. Jordan's job as an art curator for Arresting Art Gallery is in San Francisco.

Thankfully they have the means if the feelings are still there. These two are adults and jump right into doing adult things. wink, wink. The feelings are so strong. They decide quickly that they want to continue seeing each other. With one other or the other flying to see the other on the weekends, they are making it work. How long will it last is the question. How long can they keep traveling back and forth? That's not all that is going on in this book. There is a mystery. Ms. Brown gives us romance and drama. This unexpected mystery in this friends-to-lovers novel is just the thing to put this book over the top.
