No Safe Place by Patricia Gibney

4.0

Series with lots of books always worry me because they tend to follow the same plot, with small differences. Patricia Gibney has so far strayed from this trend, although she does have her elements that remain the same. Because of this, I didn’t find this book as genius as her first 3. I actually named some of the mysteries way before their reveal.

One thing I absolutely love about her writing is how she dives into dialogue without the need for stating who said every sentence. I really really commend her for this as too many authors feel the need to include useless text explaining who is speaking every quote. I’m still planning to continue this series to see what Lottie Parker gets into next.
