The Children of Húrin by J.R.R. Tolkien

2.0

I’m a Tolkien fan for sure, but was really swimming in this one. Understandably unfinished in his death, the reader is thrown into a world prior to The Middle Earth we know well from LoTR even though Christopher Tolkien provides some context. Overall I found all the names of places and lineages extremely distracting from the story line and thus difficult and laborious to read.
