An Acceptable Time by Madeleine L'Engle

2.0

I was rather disappointed in this book. I just couldn't get into the story. The story centers around Polly, the oldest daughter of Meg and Calvin, as she commences on her own time traveling adventure on a visit to her grandparents' house. Zachary is a jerk and why she continued to allow him to come visit her isn't clear. In fact a lot of things are not terribly clear in this book and I felt as though we never really knew what was going on or why anything happened. What would have really helped this book was a very heavy hand by an editor to get it back on track.
