my grandma made me read this so i didnt expect much, sorry grandma, but it was really good. loved all the references in it, especially a character being called Kathleen Burke since she's one of my favourite actors, have posters of her all over my wall so got really excited to hear her name. love Dwight Frye too, this gave me an excuse to infodump to my grandma about them, sick! i find the story of frankenstein so boring, i love mad scientists, uplifts, body horror and all that shit but frankenstein's never been my fav, but this is a really interesting take on it, way better than the original not going to lie. so, worth reading even if you're not a frankenstein-er.
Graphic: Body horror, Physical abuse, Medical content, Medical trauma, and Murder
