i can see why this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but as someone who doesn't mind slower, quieter stories, i liked it a lot. ending is painfully, realistically anticlimactic in the same vein as the ending of nevada. i wanted a little more from it but it felt fitting.
as an east asian, the very detailed overexplanations of japanese culture felt kinda redundant at times (example: the in-line definition of "ramune" felt a little silly), but it's also nice to see such an in-depth exploration.
