This book is horrible. The heroine is a superficial idiot and the 'hero' is such a douchebag you are actively rooting for them both to end up alone.

In the #metoo era, this book sends entirely the wrong message - "No means no unless you're a hot guy in which case no might still mean no but you'll change your mind when you realise there is literally no other option".

He essentially demands she goes out with him, decides that their first date will be an over-nighter even after she repeatedly says she doesn't want to go back to his place, ignores her when she says she doesn't want to kiss him/sleep with him, AND THEN after they do sleep together (shocker) she SLUT SHAMES HERSELF!

I would give this book minus stars if I could.

The only reason I kept reading was because I like most of the supporting characters, and I don't like giving up in the middle of a series. When I'm hating on the book I'm reading though, I tend to make use of the Kindle Note feature. For example:

"What a douche"
"FFS is that supposed to be romantic?"
"I hope this book ends with the ex shooting them both"
"Great, now she's slut shaming herself"
"So fucking stupid"

Bottom line - don't pay money for this book. If you want to read it to complete the series borrow it from a library or wait until it's an Amazon special - as in, free.
