The Wild Duck by Henrik Ibsen
4.0
The notes introducing "All My Sons" pointed me definitively toward this play. I found it almost novelistic in its attention to details of set decoration and backstory: the production that was taking place in my mind was sumptuous! Evidently Ibsen was concerned that it would be played as satire --!! Impossible for me to see how; I found the characters tragically human.
