This one is totally on me. I let the fact that this author has so much hype influence me and impulsively purchased this without any sort of research and went in totally blind. This is a Horror genre novel and not in the Stephen King kind of way and that just made it really boring for me. It's an interesting premise but just did not hold my attention. I might come back to it at some point in the future but for now I just can't bring myself to finish this. In general it's very difficult for me to get into horror. If that is your jam I'm sure you'll love it.
