Stories for Boys Who Dare to be Different by Ben Brooks

3.0

So many unnecessary inclusions. Men who’ve done a lot of damage and men who’ve already been spoken about enough.

It was also disappointing in the entry where they acknowledge that the man’s real name was Hin-mah-too-yah-lat-kekt and then kept referring to him by his colonial name.

I think this book was just too pro-capitalism to actually be about boys who dare to be different. It still felt like big “boot strap” motivation stories.
