Sounds Fake But Okay: An Asexual and Aromantic Perspective on Love, Relationships, Sex, and Pretty Much Anything Else by Sarah Costello, Kayla Kaszyca
informative
lighthearted
medium-paced
5.0
This is now on my shortlist of fave non-fiction aspec books. It's a great primer to ace and aro identities without feeling like it was written for teenagers.
That being said it very much is written for the chronically online millenial and gen z crowd. Full of Tumblr speak and pop culture references, it's an enjoyable read that flows with the same snappy repetoire that Sarah and Kayla have in their podcast--which this book stems from.
