This is a tale of the second chance at romance that never was. Giselle and Jude are former classmates who as adults reconnect and fake date. Her boyfriend, who was a key player on why they didn't connect back then, decides to unceremoniously dump her because she's not sophisticated enough. The author weaves a tale of blurring the lines and learning to be what should've been years ago.
Both characters have issues to resolve, and we get to see their growth in the story. The way they finally realize they are meant for each other is written beautifully, although there was a bit of angst. If you liked Legally Blond or 13 going on 30, this is your book.
