Well, as it turned out, this wasn’t my favorite Mia Sheridan book. The first 2/3 was great! But the last third was...not. I don’t know what happened, maybe it was too drawn out? Too much drama? I struggled with the lack of communication. The assumptions. The on again/off again. It wasn’t a bad book. It just wasn’t the usual Mia Sheridan book that blows me away. I still adore this author and will continue to chip away at her back list.
