Omg. Roan, our mysterious quiet grumpy Hartley, will have you just wooed. He absolutely becomes enchanted by Aspen and her daughter, Cady. Shadows of you is everything you love about Catherine Cowles books. I did not see that happening.you will fall more in love with Cedar Ridge while reading how Roan and Aspen fall in love. They both give to each other what they usually hide from the outside world. That alone just makes you wish for them to get to that HEA in one piece. However, since this is a romantic suspense, our main characters do experience an obstacle. I again was shocked with the plot twist towards the ending. The epilogue will have your heart back to melting.
