The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters
3.0
(Audio book) Was going to rate this a 4 but listening to my heart and keeping it at a 3.4.
The youngest child (4yo) of a family from Nova Scotia that picks blueberries in Maine goes missing. Book alternates between Joe, her brother and next youngest, and Ruthie, the girl that went missing.
Good enough story that kept me entertained enough to finish but it was a little slow at the beginning. I had a very hard time accepting the narrators since Ruthie's narrator was a SUPER enunciator and didn't put emotion into the reading. I had to bump up the audio speed to make her narration sound normal speed.
