I did not intend to read a YA novel at the age of 30ish, but this is rather well written considering I'm almost two decades removed from the school references in this book. I definitely felt like there were some forced tropes and I wasn't the biggest fan of what felt like a rushed ending (may have felt less so if each chapter wasn't dedicated to a particular character) but overall I love the theme of the book and the unapologetic LGBTQ elements.
