A Burning in the Bones by Scott Reintgen

5.0

A breathtaking end to a solid series.

I liked book one. I really liked book 2. I absolutely devoured book 3. The storyline was well thought out with perfectly timed twists and surprises, heart-wrenching losses and hard-fought wins. It was as engrossing as the biggest scenes from GOT. I loved every minute of it, and loved that you can feel the author’s growth as a storyteller throughout the books. Everything felt bigger and more focused than the previous books.

I purchased the hardback book set on ThriftBooks immediately after finishing.
