Jack of Fables, Vol. 1: The (Nearly) Great Escape by Bill Willingham
4.0
The chauvinistic, half-baked adventures of Jack continue in his own series and its fun. Really, really, fun. Willingham and Sturges introduce readers to a new collection Fables and more. The return of an old antagonist and the introduction of a really new one make this book very good. The authors' complete sense of this world is outstanding. Its great to see writers having fun with characters they obviously care about. The art was very good at times but also too unfinished in others, especially for a new series. Overall, a very fun book! I'm going to read the next one right now!
