I feel like although it was a very interesting and obviously an interesting topic, for a war there was a lot of standing around waiting to cross the road. Or Arrow was waiting to shoot the other sniper for a long time. I also feel like it wasn't made explicitly obvious if they were Muslims or not. I think from context you know that they are but it felt like the author just glossed over that which is strange.
