What I Liked:
- The dialogue - witty and lots of fun banter
- Older MMC with all the aches and pains and trauma you’d expect from a retired adventurer
- I love a romance between an older married couple working together
- Bacon, Bastard, and Other Bastard, the farm animals
- The narrator, Owen Findlay, did a brilliant job
What I Didn’t Like:
- The necromancer constantly touching everyone and making advances at them after they told her no
- The MMCs were separated for more of the book than I would have liked
