Choose this book for a major final project back in my senior year of high school. Wow, was it the right choice. This book is *stunning*. The characters are complex and you invest in them. Cried and smiled throughout. A true story of resilience, strength and courage. A must-read for all. It’s stood the test of time for me. I still love it.
