I really enjoy reading the books in this series. The characters are like familiar friends now and I love reading about Lottie and her family.
Lottie is still a hot mess but she manages to solve cases and function at work. I'm not sure how she does it, but she does. In this novel, the case is twisted and there's almost nothing to go on so Lottie and her team have their work cut out for them.
I'm really hoping that we start to see some personal growth in Lottie in the next installments, she has been skating by for a long time and it's time she stopped.
I look forward to the next book in the series...
