4.5 I've come to really enjoy and appreciate Tyler's ability to follow a family for generations and make it entertaining even though there isn't really a climax. Her beautiful prose and well-written characters are the attraction. I also felt some pleasure that the story ventured into the pandemic and loved that I related to the feelings of the characters when they struggled with this new way of life. I'm so glad I picked up this book :)
