Life and Limb by Freya Barker

This book is the second one in the authors PASS series and Dimas Mazur and Willa Smith's series. You'll fall in love with the care that Willa gives the homeless veteran's who come for food, shelter and therapy at the South Avenue Shelter but when one of them are accused of murder Dimas will be assigned to help solve the murder. But can Dimas follow the "hands off" instructions from Bree? You'll have to read the book to find out if he can or can't.

Willa Smith loves her job and helping the people at the shelter and she can relate to them after serving 8 years with the Army Medical Corps but she won't hesitate to help when one of their own is accused of murder. But when she finds out there's more to the story including a possible crooked cop and off the books MMA fights that prey on men Dimas will need to race to the rescue to save Willa.

This is a very good story and if you read Ms. Barker regular all of her books are excellent.
