This book is beautiful. From the illustrations to the way it's written, it's all beautiful.
I've always liked Indigenous teachings and knowledge, I feel connected to it because it's about respecting the land you're on and giving back to the land.

Not only has this book made me appreciate nature more and want to give back to the land. I also really admire Indigenous teachings and knowledge much more than I did starting this book.

I decided to read the Young Adult edition as it is much more reader-friendly. I  am someone who is neurodivergent and having a book that is more reader-friendly was really appreciated and enjoyable.
When I say "reader-friendly" I mean it's less dense in words. I remember I wanted to read Braiding Sweetgrass but when I picked it up and looked at the words I noticed the book is really dense in words and intimating to start.
With Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults, it's less dense in words and more simple to read.

I REALLY enjoyed this book and I am so happy to have finished it and I will totally be recommending this book to others.
