Anger Is a Gift by Mark Oshiro

4.0

Anger Is A Gift is more than a novel about police brutality. It is about how Moss, the protagonist, deals with grief and anger. How he finds his voice and pushes through his anxiety through with support of his mother, his friends, and his community. My heart broke in some scenes for Moss, and cheered in others. The novel is a roller coaster of emotions, and most of the time, I felt the anger Moss was feeling because I could relate to his circumstances. Beautiful job Mark Oshiro!
